'Les Culturales 2007' is an event organised by ARVALIS – the Institut du Végétal, UNIP, FNAMS and CETIOM on 6th and 7th June 2007 in Boigneville, Essonne. Even more visitors than in 2005 are expected …. more than 15,000 people over the two days (farmers, technicians, journalists, ….).

Gardeline, Monteil and Ameline : a major turning point in the growing of wild cherry.The wild cherry produces fine wood that is much sought after by furniture manufacturers and whose selling price has remained high for many decades. After over 25 years of research work, researchers at INRA have selected 3 cultivars which are now to be put on sale: Gardeline, Monteil and Ameline. These cultivars, selected varieties chosen by vegetative propagation, stand out from other wild cherries with their vigour, straightness, geographical adaptation and resistance to disease.The new wild cherries, Ameline, Gardeline and Monteil will be on sale from 2007*.
